Dec 17th – 18th 2012  HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME – Typhoon Bhopa devastated southern parts of Philippines claiming 1000 lives and displacing 1.2 million people in Sep 2012. UNAS collaborated with students in Anderson & CJC Hostel, Oldham Hall and St Andrews Hall to a collect Humanitarian Aid for the victims.

UNAS hosted its second UN Model UN (MUN) conference at the Catholic Junior College. The conference lasted 3 days and was attended by students from Junior Colleges and secondary schools. The MUN provides students the chance to come to grips with UN issues whilst at the same time help to polish their debating skills.
