This is a major call to action for every individual, business, and government to take responsibility and play a part in ensuring a sustainable future.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has urged citizens around the world to join WWF's Earth Hour to demand action on climate change. So far, 2,712 cities, towns and municipalities in 83 countries have already committed to VOTE EARTH for Earth Hour 2009, as part of the worlds first global election between Earth and global warming.
