Its primary function is to plan, organise and execute seminars and conferences that are congruent with aims of UNAS and of interest to the membership, providing an opportunity to become engaged in issues on the UN agenda – from peace, global security & development, human rights, the environment and many more. We invite prominent speakers, diplomats and experts to address, discuss and debate major issues on the UN’s agenda, share experiences to build a more energized “peoples” movement for the UN and advocating for a better world.

We are also actively in collaboration with the network of WFUNA for a global celebration.  In particular is the special commemoration of the United Nations’ 60^th Anniversary.
